Enjoy Your Vacation With Ease
Our mobility scooters are delivered ready for you to enjoy your vacation with ease. To get going and stay on the move, please review the following information before using the equipment.

Is drive engaged?
Locate the yellow topped lever on the rear deck above either the right or left rear wheel. Once you locate the lever, ensure it is in the locked position indicated by the closed lock symbol.

Key in, check speed!
Set the speed controller to its lowest which is represented by the turtle icon. Insert the key and turn clockwise to on. You can increase the speed once your on the go.

Sit safely and go!
Once safely seated, pull the right side paddle towards you to go forward and push the left paddle away for reverse. Release the paddle in order to come to a complete stop.

Recharge the battery!
At the end of each day, we kindly ask you to charge the equipment regardless of the battery indicator status on the console. Inadequate charging can damage the battery cells.
⚠️ Always power off before mounting, dismounting, or adjusting the seat or tiller.
Quick Tip: The scooter automatically brakes when you release the throttle, no need to squeeze the handle (tiller) or use your feet as brakes. This model is also equipped with a manual brake lever for additional stopping power.
Charging & Battery Care
To get the best performance from our mobility scooters, we highly recommend you recharge the equipment overnight regardless of the level at which the battery indicator on the control console is displaying. The Maxima 4-wheel uses two (2) durable sealed lead-acid batteries, and the equipment charges with a smart charger provided by Irie Mobility.

-
Turn the scooter off before connecting the charger.
-
Plug the charger into the battery pack or tiller port (varies by model).
-
Plug the other end directly into a wall outlet.
-
Don’t use extension cords or wet outlets; risk of electric shock.
-
Indicator Light: 🔴 / 🟠 = Charging 🟢 = Fully Charged.
-
Unplug the charger before starting the scooter.
-
Allow overnight charging to ensure a full range for the next day.
-
Do not cover the charger while in use; it needs ventilation.
-
If anything appears damaged, stop charging and contact Irie Mobility Support immediately.
Quick Tip: Nightly charging keeps you mobile and helps prevent battery issues.
Disassembly & Transporting
Our Pride Maxima 4-Wheel mobility does not feature the usual feather-touch disassembly in its design due to the weight the equipment is built to handle. DO NOT attempt disassembly regardless of the circumstances; doing so can lead to personal injuries and damage to the equipment that is not a part of normal wear and tear.
⚠️ DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DISASSEMBLE
